The President of the Cameroon Chamber of
Commerce, Honorable Christophe Eken on Thursday 11 November 2021, received in
audience, the British High commissioner to Cameroon, H.E. Dr Christian
Dennys-McClure. Both men discussed ways of deepening trade ties between
Cameroon and Great Britain and exploring new opportunities most especially
after the BREXIT. Both personalities resolved to deepen cooperation in areas
such agro-industrial transformation, sustainable forest management, recycling,
etc., and strengthen the capacities of SMEs, within the framework of the post
BREXIT economic partnership agreement ratified the with the UK in March 2021. The President was accompanied to the
audience by the Secretary General and some close collaborators. The audience came two days after a similar
diplomatic encounter with the Tunisian Ambassador to Cameroon.
